The mild astringent properties of egg white also give a good toning effect to the skin. The acidic content of lemon juice kills the acne-causing bacteria P. acnes. It works as a powerful disinfectant. Apart from that it also exfoliates the skin by removing the dead skin cells, which in turn makes the skin healthy and less prone to acne. It also lightens the acne scars.
You will need the following ingredients:
-Aloe Vera Gel 2 tablespoons
-Lemon juice 1 tablespoon
How do you prepare it, and how do you use it?
Separate the egg white from the yolk and put it into the bowl. Then add 2 tablespoons of Aloe Vera Gel and stir until they mix. Add the lemon juice and stir it until it mixes.
Apply the mixture on the acne affected area and leave it to dry completely. Wash away the mask with water and pat dry the area with a clean towel. Use this mask daily if you have oily skin which is more prone to acne.
- Aloe Vera, Milk and Sugar.
This remedy will fight the acne as well and give you a healthy, soft and bright skin. The glycolic acid in sugar will exfoliate the skin and promote cell renewal. Apart from that sugar, which works as a humectant will retain the moisture of the skin.
In order to prepare this remedy you will need the following ingredients:
-Aloe Vera Gel 2 tablespoons
-Milk ½ tablespoon
-Sugar 1 tablespoon
Add the milk and the sugar in a small bowl and mix until the sugars melts into the milk. Then add the Aloe Vera Gel and mix thoroughly.
Apply the mixture on skin affected with acne. Leave it to dry for 20-25 minutes. Wash the area with warm water and pat dry with a clean towel. Use on a daily basis until your face clears out.
- Aloe Vera, Turmeric, Honey and Milk.
Aloe Vera, milk and honey have various properties to treat acne and when we add turmeric to them, the resultant remedy becomes even more effective for acne treatment. The antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties of turmeric treats acne issues successfully. Also, its antibacterial property kills the bacteria that cause acne. The rose water offers an anti-inflammatory and hydrating effect to the acne-affected skin.
-Aloe Vera Gel 1 tablespoon
-Few drops of rose water
– Turmeric 1 tablespoon
-Milk 1 tablespoon
-Honey 1 tablespoon
Put all the ingredients into a small bowl and mix them until you get a paste.
Apply the paste on the acne infected area, leave it for 10-15 minutes to dry and then rinse it off with clean water and pat dry with a clean towel. Use the paste 2-3 times per day.
