The human body is more than 60% water by weight, and every single body part depends on water to function. Your body needs water to flush out toxins from your liver when you are properly hydrated the human body doesn’t retain extra water, but if you are dehydrated your body goes into survival mode and retains every drop of water just to be sure it will be able to continue basic functions.
