Turmeric And Lentil Soup Can Protect You From Type 2 Diabetes, Cancer And Dementia!

The ingredients are well known, it contains turmeric, apples and lentils which have many healing properties. Turmeric is known for its extremely potent anti-inflammatory abilities. Inflammation can cause many various diseases such as:

Lentils are very high in protein, magnesium and iron. Red lentils have better nutrients than the other kinds.

To prepare this soup you will need.

 

-2-3 cups of hot water

-2 apples, cored and grated

-1 teaspoon of salt

-1 onion

-teaspoon of cumin

-2 cups of red lentil

-1 teaspoon of coconut oil

-1/2 cup of coconut milk

-1 teaspoon of turmeric powder

-1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon

 

Preparation:

Rinse the lentils with cold water and leave them to drain. Melt the coconut oil in a pot and sauté the onions until they get soft and begin to get a gold color.

Add the turmeric and apples and cook the mixture for 2 full minutes. Stir constantly and add the water with the lentils. Boil the mixture and close to pot and then simmer for 15 minutes.

For the final step add the coconut milk and spices and simmer until the lentils get soft. Add a cup of water if you like the soup to be thinner. And leave it to simmer for 2 hours.

Serve the soup warm and if you prefer garnish it with coconut shaving and pumpkin seeds.
